the reception staff offered a warm welcome and provided an upgrade for a special occasion i stayed on one of the higher floors that provided fine views of the surrounding bay i enjoyed the weather from the room's balcony next day breakfast offered a wide range of choices and attentive service.

i experienced a considerable delay during the check-in process this caused some inconvenience as i was eager to settle in and begin my stay this delay was longer than typically expected at a hotel of this reputation.

My room included soft, fluffy towels. The bed was comfy. The staff was friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the views of the bay from my window (it was a gorgeous sight!).

The minibar was not refilled. Some grout issues were obvious in the bathroom. The TV controls did not work. (I wish they would have been fixed).

The air conditioning made AWFUL noises throughout the night. I reported it, but the staff just shrugged. It made sleep near impossible. I think they need to seriously invest in fixing their systems rather than ignore guest complaints.

The bathroom design included ample storage. (This made it easy to keep things organized.)

Instead of paying for ten room nights, we were charged for fifteen. It took considerable effort to get the overcharge reversed. Communication was poor. There was an almost complete lack of response requiring us to do all the work to rectify the problem.
